I was very pleased with the 7201 round base microphone stand. Sturdy and adjustible hight is perfect for my daughter and her karoke machine.
I bought it to hold the mic for the video game rock band, and it is Stong, sturdy, and easy for my 8 year old twins to use. The only negative I have about it is that you have to by a mic clip seperatly, other then that it is a thumbs up. For the price, this is a great mic stand. It is a little heavy, but that is what makes it nice and sturdy.
Otherwise the price was good and it seems to be a solid base. It looks like a used microphone stand even though it was supposed to be new. Somehow I missed that other customers purchased a mic clip or holder since this stand does not include one. The reason for the "OK" rating though is because the paint on the base was a little roughed up and the mid-section height adjusting piece was also a little dented. The packing didn't seem to be the problem - it looks like it was shipped that way.
